Manitoba Weddings & Socials - Moving From Restrictions to Recommendations

Updated: Mar 15

It is not new that the restrictions in Manitoba have hugely impacted the wedding industry for both businesses and individuals since March of 2020. What was supposed to be 2 weeks, has us now a full 2 years later, finally transitioning from public health orders to recommendations.

Here is our breakdown of the latest health recommendations as of March 15, 2022.

Bride Holding Flowers Wearing Mask
Masks are now an accessory of the past for a bride.

Masks

As of March 15, 2022, the mask mandate has been lifted. Although mask use is no longer required it is up to each individual to assess the risk and decide for themselves whether they want to wear a mask or not.

Wedding Capacity Limits

As of March 1, 2022, having to choose between having an all-vaccinated event or not has been lifted. Vaccine passports are no longer be required and capacity limits are a thing of the past. Keep in mind that a business or venue still has the right to follow any of the capacity limits or mask policies if they so choose.

Socials

You no longer need to check vaccine status for your social! No more masks are required! Brush off those dancing shoes and let's celebrate!

**Keep in mind that each venue and vendor has the right to their own policies regardless of the public health orders. If you have any questions about capacity limits, Covid policies, and protocols the best thing to do is to contact your vendors.

Endless Events Group, Tentation Rentals, and Summer Bounce Entertainment are compliant with all public health orders and recommendations to keep our staff and clients safe.
