Too many brides and grooms put one of the most important days of their lives into the hands of someone who is a DJ "just for fun”.

Don't book an amateur DJ for your wedding day!

You can’t expect professional results from an amateur! Here are 3 Rules to consider when booking a Wedding DJ / MC for your special day:

1. Bring Yourself up to Speed: Booking a DJ is not a task most people do on a regular basis, thus before doing so you should take the time to educate yourself. There are a variety of different types of DJ’s out there with different levels of education - not all DJ’s are created equal and each one will bring different things to the table. Educate yourself on the different types of DJ’s and what they do.

2. Create an Identity: Not every Bride and Groom are the same, so why should the music and entertainment be the same? Knowing what type of party you want, whether or not you want to be spotlighted or more of an observer, and knowing your audience are very important factors that impact how your DJ prepares for your event. Without this knowledge your DJ is left to their own perception of what you want, this can lead to disappointment for everyone involved.

3. Find your Match: When it comes to your wedding, you want to make sure that you have the perfect fit for what you want for your wedding! So when you are deciding, make sure you know that the Wedding DJ you go with understands your vision, sounds polished on the microphone, has a vast music knowledge and is very charismatic!
